QUIZ Question#3

TODAY’S quiz:Mathematics

How many factors does the number 77760000 have?

(a) 250

(b) 300

(c) 350

d) 400

Quiz question#2

Well, for many days I was inactive….still that doesn’t matter much. I ‘m out with 2nd version of quiz question

Answer to previous version:
The leaves of tamarind contain tartaric acid, which mixes with the soil and makes it acidic . That is why usually very less plants thrive there.

Well… So it’s entirely your turn to answer…..

The 4 number systems โ€” A brief introduction about them

There are many number systems in Mathematics and Computer science but 4 among them are the most recognized. This post briefly discusses about these 4 number systems.

The 4 systems – image from cuemath.

Brief structure

Sl NumberSystemBaseNumbers used
1Binary20, 1
2Octal80, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7
3Decimal100, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9
4Hexadecimal160, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,A(value 10), B(value 11), C(value 12), D(value 13), E(value 14), F (value 15)

But how to write numbers in each system?

Consider a number…. umm… 42.How to write it? Wait, let’s check. We write the number using it’s place value in all the system.

Ok, 1st write 42 in decimal.
42 = 4ร—10^1 + 2ร—10^0(remember, the rightmost place's value is base^0 and the power increases as we move left.. The face value of the digit is multiplied with the value of the place to get place value).
So the number 42 in decimal is (42)10.
Now in binary form
42 = 1ร—2^5 +0ร—2^4+ 1ร—2^3 + 0ร—2^2+1ร—2^1+0ร—2^0.
So the number 42 in binary is (101010)2.
Now in octal.
42 = 5ร—8^1 + 2ร—8^0.
So the number 42 in octal is (52)8.
Now in hexadecimal,
42 = 2ร—16^1+10ร—16^0.
But the value of 10 denoted by A.
So, 42 in hexadecimal is (2A)16

But this system takes time during converting from systems except decimal. Is there any solution? Yes, there is, but that we will post later.

stay home stay safe,

Calculate Factorial of a Number in C++, C and Javascript

Hello friends! Welcome to our site namely Science & cyber. In the previous post regarding coding, we showed you how can we make a simple calculator using basic Javascript, HTML & CSS. In this post, we are going to show you how we can easily calculate Factorial of a number .

Before that…..

You need to know :

  • What is factorial of a number
  • The respective programing language.

C language

#include <stdio.h>
int main () {
int number;
long double factorial = 1;
int a = 1;
//specifying data types
 int k = 1;
while (k == 1) {
printf("Enter the number ") ;
scanf("%d",&number) ;
/* The number value is taken */
if(number >= 1) {
for(a= 1;a<=number;a++) {factorial = factorial*a;}
printf(" The factorial is %Lf \n", factorial) ;
else if(number == 0) {printf("The factorial is 1\n");}
else {printf("Enter zero or positive integer\n") ;}

C++ language

#include <iostream>
using namespace std;
int main() {
 int number;
 double factorial = 1;
int k;
cout << "Enter the number \t";
cin >> number;
if(number>=1) {
   for(k = 1; k <= number; k += 1)
{factorial = factorial*k;}
cout << factorial;
else if(number == 0) {factorial = 1;
cout << factorial;}
else {cout << " enter either 0 or positive integer ";}
return 0;

Check the code right here

<! DOCTYPE html>
<h1>Calculate factorial</h1>
<p>Enter the number:</p>
 <input id="inp"type="number" style = "border:2px dotted green"/>
<button style = "height:30;width:40;color:blue "onclick = " fx();" >Calculate</button>
<p id = "res"></p>
function fx(){
let k = document.getElementById('inp').value;
let a = 1;
let b = 1;
if(k>=1) {
   for(b = 1; b<= k; b += 1)
{a= a*b;}
document.getElementById('res').innerHTML = a;
else if(number == 0) {a = 1;
document.getElementById('res').innerHTML = a;;}
else {document.getElementById('res').innerHTML =  " enter either 0 or positive integer ";}

Quiz Question#1

Hello friends! I’ve decided to give you some questions every week. This is the 1st edition.

I hope all of us have seen a tamarind tree.

Why do only very few plants and no big tree can grow underneath a tamarind tree? I want scientific answer, not religious/mythological.

Difficulty : easy.

Give answer in comment.

Byee for today, meet you soon.

Actually, for any big tree, answer would be shade. But there is something special about tamarind. Trees can’t grow even aside tamarind.

Hey guys! Welcome to this site namely Science & cyber. Here in this post I am going to show how to make a calculator by JavaScript and HTML &CSS.If you have any doubt, just ask in comment section.

Things you need to know

So there must be some earlier requirements for making a program

  • HTML

<! DOCTYPE html>
HTML Calculator</title>
<td colspan="4" ><input  id="res"/></td>
<td ><button onclick="dis(7)">7</button></td>
<td ><button onclick="dis(8)">8</button></td>
<td ><button onclick="dis(9)">9</button></td>
<td ><button onclick="dis('+')">+</button></td>
<td ><button onclick="dis(4)">4</button></td>
<td ><button onclick="dis(5)">5</button></td>
<td ><button onclick="dis(6)">6</button></td>
<td ><button onclick="dis('-')">-</button></td>
<td ><button onclick="dis(1)">1</button></td>
<td ><button onclick="dis(2)">2</button></td>
<td ><button onclick="dis(3)">3</button></td>
<td ><button onclick="dis('*')">*</button></td>
<td ><button onclick="dis(0)">0</button></td>
<td ><button onclick="clr()">C</button></td>
<td ><button onclick="dis('/')">/</button></td>
<td><button onclick="slv()">=</button></td>
function clr(){
document.getElementById('res').value = " "
function dis(val){
document.getElementById('res').value += val
function slv(){
let x = document.getElementById('res').value
let y= eval(x)

If you have any queries, you know what to do – just comment.

Some HTML editors have some extra rules. For example, this code does not work in w3schools html tryit editor. For the code which runs in w3schools;click Here
